I think you are missing some facts which I believe are important:
- One of the reporters didn't publish anything. All she did was investigate the 
case.
- While the other reporter did publish something, he wasn't the first to 
publish the undercover agents identity.

I have very little sympathy for a source that leaks information and endangers 
an agent for reasons of domestic politics. But neither of these two reporters 
should be forced to give up their sources. If anyone should, it should be Novak.
