True.  People, in general, have a facination about sharks (I think).  They are 
primative, deadly and mysterious.  I think the media were fixated on the latest 
attacks because they both involved children and the first one involved a 
close-up and personal rescue attempt where a surfer had to punch the shark to 
thwart further attacks.
