Yeah, sharks are definitely something when you see them up close. 

I'm not a big fan of Michael Chrichton, but in his book The Sphere he
made a comment about how the ancestors of humans crawled out of the
literal shark tank of the oceans, and the process of survival has been
continuing in the oceans for millions of years making them a very
nasty place where we just aren't supposed to be.
