I've tried shine before, never made it. They used to sell it here in New Hampshire when I was in college. About the closest thing you could get to it, anyways. It was like 180 proof, called Everclear or something like that. Fun stuff. They might still sell it for all I know, I no longer see the need to have a buzz in 3.7 seconds flat. Have you tried FreeCycle for your fridge? There have been about 5 given away by my group in the last week alone.
