learn to hold it, you can leave them alone (like i do mine, for up to
14 hours) (heck he has even gone 24 hours, but that was a REALLY long
night, and he wouldnt have wanted me to drive anyway!)

---- we didnt.  it was a sleeping, and during the day (unattended kinda thing)
 its a place that you need him to make him feel like himself, in his
den, not a bad place... plus, if you are home, he should be with you,
not locked up in the crate.

sure do! but not for long.  that goes away. takes time, but it goes away!

also, one BIG thing.  call it his "bed".  not his crate.  i think
crate is a four letter word for dogs, and ive always been told to call
it a bed not a crate.  all i have to do is mention the word bed now,
and he is "within seconds" in my bathroom, looking up at me, asking
what he can do next!

now thats good training.
