I share Dana's opinion. They are children's/young adult books. I do not think they are ever going to be great literature that will be the basis of College literature courses. But I find the well written and a nice light read. I can finish the early ones in an evening. The latter ones do suffer from successful author bloat, but not so much that I can't read them. I just skim some sections of it faster then others.
