First, I would make sure your data is backed up.

You should be able to use Norton Ghost to replicate the hard drive. I have
used it many times with 2000 with any problems. The biggest hard drive I
used for Ghost was 80GB I think. Not sure of Ghost has a limit or not.

But, if it is clicking, it many not last long enough for Ghost to complete.

Worse case is you reinstall XP on the new hard drive and all your programs,
assuming you have all the CDs.

Subject: Clicking hard disk.

So, my hard disk has started clicking. An older one, that I've had for
about 6 years. However, this is where my Windows XP OS is located.

So I just bought a 200Gig ATA133 hard disk to replace it, a diamond max 10.

Question...waaaiitt for iiiitt..

HOW do I go about replacing the Current hard disk which contains my C:
and D: drives with this new 200Gig drive???

I have Norton Ghost.
