1. These are not U.S. citizens so therefore not entitled to the same rights as American's 2. They are illegal combatants and may be summarily executed, I would say this is a lot better. 3. The police aren't 2000 miles away fighting a war, and there not in deep cover situations that could have repercussions on their family, and when they are exceptions are made in our legal system (mob cases and cartel cases)

Since we've not defined the scope of the war, and therefore the end, the translation of what you wrote is: "America believes it is moral to imprision people indefinitely without due process." Either that's something you agree with or not. If not, then you don't really believe in some of the principles America was founded on. Your same argument, btw, can be used for criminals: "We caught this guy robbing a store. It's too difficult to bring in the police to testify and if we let him go he'll just rob again so let's imprison him forever." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:164343 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
