The press is NOT the publicity agent of the Whitehouse. Why would you think it is? The reason for freedom of the press is to question the federal gov't. If the President feels he's not getting a fair shake in the "media" then he's got oodles of resources to combat that. The press exists to ensure our freedom; to ensure that wrongdoing by the federal gov't is exposed. I want my media to challenge, question, and criticize the federal gov't as much as is possible. That anyone would critcize the press as not being friendly enough to the federal gov't is just plain scary. I think the press is far too gentle to President which is why I choose sources that are not. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Homesite Plus with Dreamweaver from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=55 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:164797 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
