Now to throw a twist into the mix, one would be a Windows XP system and the other a Mac (Apple) system.
Guess I will find out at Microcenter when I go there. A lot of the items found online said that it was Not possible which I thought was strange. -----Original Message----- From: Jim Davis [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, July 16, 2005 8:07 PM To: CF-Community Subject: RE: KVM with Wireless Keyboard/Mouse? > -----Original Message----- > From: CF-DEV [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Saturday, July 16, 2005 5:34 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: KVM with Wireless Keyboard/Mouse? > > Has anyone used a KVM (preferably Linksys - 2Port) with a wireless > keyboard and mouse to drive both systems? > > Personally, I have a KVM 2 port but use a wired USB keyboard/mouse. > > If so, what KVM was used? I have a client who is in need of that > setup. I've use several - mostly Cybex and Belkin ps/2 / USB models and all have worked flawlessly with Logitech wireless kits. One really old Compaq Rack-mount I tried worked but didn't support mouse wheels so I got rid of it. Generally the Wireless kits are designed to work with any PS/2 or USB ports... and the KVMs are designed to provide seamless support for those ports so I would suspect that problems are the exception, not the norm.
