Why is that wrong with the whole legal position? Of course you can do it if it's not illegal. Next thing you know, you'll want to throw people in jail for committing acts that are offensive. This does not sound like the Gruss I'm used to. What exactly are you getting at?
"Well, you may get your wish - maybe some new laws will be made that will make Rove's behavior illegal thus complicating out legal code even further." I have no desire one way or the other with regards to new laws. He wouldn't be affected by it in any case. Sure Karl Rove is a slimeball with low morals. But unless he's a convicted criminal, I don't expect W to fire him. Your position is the whole problem with the American legal system: if something isn't specifically illegal, then I can do it. Don't worry about morals or ethics, just worry about the letter of the law. Well, you may get your wish - maybe some new laws will be made that will make Rove's behavior illegal thus complicating out legal code even further. BTW, if Congress could authorize a special prosecutor they would and I'm sure Rove would get the same thing Mr. Clinton and Ms. Stewart did: the ole obstruction of justice or lying under oath trick. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:165322 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
