I don't think civilian deaths are a huge factor in the attitudes of the civilian population. The Sunnis pretty much hate us and want us out because we wiped out their stranglehold on power. The Shiites don't love us, but they are glad we invaded and they want us there until they can run things on their own. The Kurds love us and want us there forever (at least in northern Iraq) to ensure their autonomy.

Was anyone counting? > >What effect does that have on the local population do you think? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:165562 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
