Well, I'm no fan of Mr. Bush, but if he knew, why have Mr. Rove (or whoever) leak it to just Mr. Cooper and Novak? Why not just pass this to the press via the daily briefing? Based on the released memo the timeline is as follows: - June 6 - Wilson publishes his editorial - June 7 - Mr. Bush and staff are delivered a memo on Wilson and Plame. - June 8 - Rove and Novak speak with Mr. Cooper. It still seems like the President probably did some bad mouthing, but I'm not sure that he would specifically instruct Rove to leak the information ... .... unless Mr. Bush is both vindictive and reckless. That is, Mr. Wilson is right that his wife's identity was leaked as punishment and it was Mr. Bush who authorized it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:165957 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
