You know, even though the footage isn't as good as the clips shown at E3 it's still pretty damn nice looking compared to PS2. I've read that the Killzone footage was actual in-game rendering, just at 5fps and then sped up for presentation.
I guess I'm confused why people are complaining. If the game footage at E3 was fully playable, then Sony would be shipping the PS3 right? But they weren't announcing it as shipping.
