that is one thing I think Apple is screwing people over on nowadays. When I bought mine, you got both the firewire and the usb cable. I definitely prefer firewire, as it seems faster to me. Anyway, www.geeks.com has some cool cables and they're definitely cheaper than Apple's cables.
