It an "it depends" - - If your primary focus is the area that you cover, #9 and 15 are relevant (though 9 is my preference) - If you're looking for a logo that will work in print, web and embrioidery #12, 19, and 2 would be better - #19 would be my preference there (nice and simple). - Being a B2B primarially means that you need your name, not your logo, to stick with clients. Personally that puts #19 in the winners circle for me no matter how plain it is.
Now for "trashing" the others: 1. Cute but inconsistent 2. What's that in the circle, a domain name or a trademark symbol? 3. 4 words - "Pump up the volume"... you don't just sell audio CD's 4. Domo arigato... you don't specialize in classic arcade games do you? Why should your logo? 5. Thought I was reading spanish there for a second. 6. Again, inconsistent fonting turns me away from a logo if it's all on the same line. Also, is that a CD or a mouse icon? 7. Uhm, someone forgot the left side of the letters. Also see #3 8. See #4 + #6 9. This one has promise, get rid of the colon and use a period instead... good if youre targeting UK customers with your logo. 10. See #8 11. 3/2 for the price of 2! 12. I'd like this one better if the UK were consistent with the rest in fonting. 13. Again, that missing letter font... and the triangle pattern reminds me more of a pawnbroker. 14. The missing lines font along with a bad impression of a reverse image LCD... ick. 15. Inconsistent font size and the whole thing is too big... plus the 1/2 disk image just isn't appealing. 16. Finally a consistent font used!!! But... what in the hell is that thing above it??? 17. Cute if the fonts were consistent, a decent "impression" 18. "Our software produces apple coredumps" 19. Good, consistent and flowing. Will print nicely and doesn't take up half the page Hatton ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:167569 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
