Oh, and you have to understand the difference between a southern democrat and a northern one.
A democrat in the south still wants to keep his guns, and is against abortion and gay folks, oh and brown folks too. A hard line dem in Kentucky is about the same a moderate republican in most states. We have two dems in congress right now. And the one from central Kentucky (Lexington and surrounding counties) has voted republican in almost every vote.
