Your description of Goodwill Hunting is the way I felt about
Anchorman. Or both of them actually -- they had their moments, though
both overrated as a whole.

I actually enjoyed Mr. Deeds, Anger Management and 50 First Dates (in
that order) although on the whole I'm thoroughly unimpressed with
Sandler's ability to pander to the ignorant high-school jock. 8 Crazy
Nights was particularly attrocious, combining the worst elements of
typical Sandler with the worst elements of typical Disney. For that
matter... Disney... in any sane world would be firmly stapled to the
bottom of the barrel right alongside Sandler.
