I'm not so sure this is true or that the US would invade to begin with.  The 
Israelis have proved in the past that a bombing run on a nuke plant is very 
effective.

1. Iraq tried the trench strategy in the first Gulf war and it failed miserably 
as the US army has excellent counter-measures.

2. I highly doubt that Iraq has enough arms to supply millions of citizens and 
that the citizens would generally take up arms.

Saddam hid for a while until greed for a big reward sold him out.  I think that 
most leaders would be caught after a while.

Probably not but that is asuming that we would invade which I kind of doubt.

You don't need to level Iran or N. Korea to be effective.  The current fiasco 
in Iraq was due to our goal of ousting Saddam.  The goal in Iran or N. Korea 
would be to eliminate nukes or nuclear capability which requires an entirely 
different strategy than invasion.
