There's nothing really to discuss.

The statement I made which started this was:

"Also let us not forget that America intervenes and projects its
foreign policies for its own personal benefit, not out of altruism."

This is probably no different to any other government that has a
country to govern.
But there are those that argue that Americas foreign policy and
government implementation of that foreign policy is altruistic. This I
do not believe.

I am not talking about the American People, I am speaking about the
American Government.

Also there was this:
"In overall commitment to development for the world's poor (considers
aid, trade, investment, migration, environment, security, and
technology) the US ranks seventh in the world. Last I checked, aid to
poor countries is altrusistic."

The very link provided to support that point of view showed that to
the contrary the US (government), just as all the other richest
countries of the world are not living up to their agreements to
provide just 0.7%.

We can also use the example of over 600Million in aid by the US
(government) to Pakistan in the wake of 9/11 as just one instance when
aid to a poor country was certainly NOT altruistic, again taken
directly from the link provided.
