She's a mother who lost a son for what she believes to be a lie. Agree with her or disagree with her, she has had the backbone to try to confront GW when the Democratic Party and the press did not. For that alone she deserves some respect.
But I agree, Bush should meet with her, should preferably have stopped his SUV (!!!) as he drove past her and said very sincerely, Ms Sheehan, I am so sorry you lost your son. But you know what, it was in a good cause, etc. WWCD. The fact that he drove past made it look like he couldn't look her in the eye and gave her all sorts of validity she didn't have before.
