So the wife and I are driving home yesterday from work. We're
on a busy highway moving about 45 mph but coming up to a stretch where the
traffic is going to back up. We come up behind a postal truck that seems to
be swerving around in his lane a little bit. I get in the next lane over to
avoid the guy. As I pass him, I notice that he's eating while driving. I
thought it was a little odd that he would be in this heavy moving traffic,
in a postal truck, with the wheel on the right side as opposed to the left,
eating fast food.

So we proceed up a little way and come to the slow-moving
traffic. After a few minutes, I'm looking around and I see the postal truck
pass us on the right side a couple of lanes over. Just after I see him, I
notice a fast-food bag fall from the truck. I think to myself "I wonder if
it fell from the truck or is he littering?"

Another moment goes by: a fast food cup is thrown from the
truck. Another minute goes by: another bag is thrown from the US Postal
Truck. I have my wife write down the information on the truck - the number,
where we were at, what time it was, etc. I'm going to call the post office
this morning and report it. I have no idea if any action will be taken.
Me, I'd like to see him fired. That's a completely unprofessional and wrong
thing to do, especially in a government vehicle. I can't believe the nerve
of this guy to throw his trash out the truck. My wife thinks he ought to be
fined but that's it.

            What do you think?
