I have no misconceptions on who the good and bad guys are. I'm just
very cognizant of the selectivity of this nation. When the reason why
the US went to war with Iraq changes on a month basis almost, I have
to start questioning the rationale.

As for not going to war with a democracy, perhaps not, but the US has
never had a qualm about deposing democracies when they disagree with
the US, note Iran (1950's), Greece (1960's) and Chile (1970) as just
three examples.
