As many times as it takes. Your arguments can be boiled down to this:

1.) It's not fair
2.) They started it.

I know you're frustrated but you need to decide if you're more
concerned with the future or the past. Indulging your emotions won't
help the future. If you want peace you'll say:

1.) Today is a new day.
2.) People, in general, always favor peace.
3.) I need to talk and share with my Palestinian brothers.

I suggest you find some Palestinian CF coders and start a dialog with
them. Talk about your similarities, talk about your families.
Encourage your Jewish family and friends to do the same. Ask your
Palestinian friends to have their family start a dialog.

Skip the politics and get to know each other's daily lives. Start the
first Jewish/Palestinian CF list! Stay off politics for a year or so.

Peace starts at home and before you point the finger, point it at
yourself and ask what you're doing to bridge the wall. If the answer
is nothing, then you've got work to do if you want peace.
