We could make the same comment about food: a handful of companies are censoring what Americans eat, causing them to be obese. I bet you've even got a McDonald's near you. Is it evil? Has the conspiracy moved to the islands? I agree that monopoly in the media is a bad thing, but it's far from a crisis or a conspiracy. Corporations get market share by delivering a product that customers want and if the majority want tripe they get it. The day that the majority of Americans begin watching The Newshour and reading the Wall St Journal large corporations will start delivering that product. If you want to point the finger, point it at our crappy education system and falling numbers of college grads. Or FoxNews fans. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:170326 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
