Just wait five years. Chinese and Indian consumers are just getting a taste of
cars. We're headed for $5 a gallon easy, and it has nothing to do with who is
president. In fact, I think the next person to be president is going to be
inheriting a real sh!t job. Even if Iraq is a totally stable democracy and
we're substantially out of there by January, 2009, the next president has to
deal with:

1. Social Security- a looming disaster
2. Medicare- a very real and very near disaster
3. China and India's economic growth and oil consumption potentially driving
oil prices into the stratosphere
4. Possible wage deflation for unskilled workers
5. Spiraling health insurance costs in general, not just for the elderly
6. Massive continued population migrations to disaster-prone areas like south
Florida, which is racking up multi-billion dollar insurance bills every year
for hurricane damage.
7. Insufficient electric power generating capacity to meet continued economic
growth, especially in the Western US.
8. And, oh yeah, those Islamic terrorists who want to kill us all.
