I'm still not sure everything is good.  It's not as awful as it was in
2001-2003, but it's still in a recovery at best.

Losing textile and manufacturing jobs to Mexico and China really hurts the
south, and the gas prices climbing are starting to affect not only drivers,
but local governments looking to bus kids to school.  The only positive
effect this could have is to force companies to look for alternative fuel
sources.

I don't know why, if we are in control of Iraq, why we can't take some of
that oil in payment for "helping them".  Yeah, I know the reason why we
don't do that.
