I'm a little confused, the economy is the worst it's been in years
because people max out their credit? How do you fix that problem, door
by door? Maybe we can use the patriot act to figure out who's
overextended and jail them :)

I don't think you should judge the economy based on the price of
Wal-Mart stocks.
As for the employee discounts, I don't know much about this sort of
thing but, I thought they made their money on service. Now if you
think GM should shut down half there plants because people are buying
more Toyotas I have to disagree. Sometimes you take the loss for the
good of the company and the employees. Plus getting the masses back
into American made cars will let them know they're much better quality
now then they were in the 80's and far better then the Europeans made
cars.
So what did the WSJ say about 0% interest for cars over the last
decade? Economy killer?
