My original comment was half jokingly.  

I don't think there is a conspiracy other than a conspiracy of idiocy.
The lack of leaders in our country's leadership is appalling.    

I do believe Bush (and his administration) has lied to the public more
than once.  Therefore he opens himself up to attack in situations like
this.   

I think he lied about Iraq.
His administrations handling of the energy issue is questionable and
lacks transparency. Etc..

Therefore he makes himself an easy target for people taking crack shots
at him (me) in situations like this.  However, the increasing
politicalization of everything and the way this administration seems to
handle things nothing would surprise me.  

It is a little funny that those who support killing are lower on the
list than those who opt to destroy property.  

It doesn't help that that those who made it to the top of the list tend
to oppose Bush, and those who in my eyes are more of a threat do to
their willingness to kill, tend to support Bush and still are taking a
backseat to those less dangerous (still dangerous, still needing to be
dealt with).
