ummmm most of the New Mexico Reserves are in Iraq. I heard we are
sending a few helicopters in addition to the previously mentioned
medical team (which is, by the way, the only medical help currently at
the superdome).

Incredible interview with the team leader in the morning paper... the
Superdome is awash, cut off, and the burglar alarm has been rining
continuously for 18 hours. Not to mention the lack of toilets and
airconditioning. I am surprised there have not been more deaths from
heatstroke. They said they weren't seeing a lot of trauma, but lots of
people with chronic illnesses, such as diabetics, who no longer had
medication.
