.... far less offensive than seeing someone use "you're" and "your" incorrectly.
At least speaking for myself; I think that is more often a typographical error rather then a grammatical error. It is just too easy to type one, when one means the other. Then in the heat of a contested debate, not proof read thoroughly enough.
