Yeah, I saw her interviewed this morning on CNN and she just seems to think that the overall relief effort is a power struggle between her, the mayor of NO and Bush. She is obviously not acting in the best interests of the people of LA. She needs to swallow her pride and give Bush the green light to let the feds do all that they can.
The mayor of NO said that Bush had a private meeting with the governor and afterward Bush told the mayor that he gave the governor two options (one being that the US military would take over policing NO) but that the governor told him that she needed 24 hours to make a decision. When confronted with this information in this morning's interview it was apparent that this was the case...she had to think about it for 24 hours....sheesh.
