what about the people in nursing homes, did they have a chance to leave? Let's be clear about this. I blame this administration (for which Bush is responsible) for doing nothing while people died. I just heard this morning that 35,000 dead in New Orleans is the number the International Red Cross was estimating at a meeting in Covington La. Thirty five thousand. It would have been horrendous anyway, but inaction on the part of the feds made it many times worse. Dana
They're blaming him for everything from the people who had the opertunity to leave and didn't, to the various agency responses on down the line to just about everything. Moore is just one such crackpot who'll go on about helecopters being 'missing' despite them being seen on TV every minute. The ass holes in NY dancing on police cars are another such group who would rather yell at Bush like it's all his fault. And the total Bull Shit about it being racism that prevents aid is making me lose any respect I may have had for some organizations. Sharpton is totally out and I'd be hard pressed to support anything with his name on it anymore. -- ....as scenes of horror that seemed to be coming from some third world country flashed before us, official Washington was like a dog watching television. It saw the lights and images but did not seem to comprehend their meaning or see any link to reality - Bob Schieffer, Face the Nation, 9/4/2005 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase RoboHelp from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=59 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:172713 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
