I agree that they did have a plan...but it obviously didn't work for a
number of reasons. I'm not saying I have all the answers because I
certainly don't, all I'm saying is that I'm trying to help in a situation
that is much larger than the rest of us, and whether it be through a website
or driving down to Houston with a trailer filled with goods from my local
community or whatever...I'll do it to help. Being from Baton Rouge, I hate
to see everything that's going on in New Orleans. New Orleans is my party
town too. It shouldn't matter so much who is responsible as much as who
still needs help, and what we all can do to help. Finger pointing and
blaming officials will continue to go down into the history books whether it
be Bush, FEMA, the Mayor, the Governor, or all them (not in that particular
order mind you).

I'd like to remember what I did to help out rather than who I bitched out
along the way....the truth is all the media is putting the spin on it,
depending on the agenda at hand, so people need to think about that as they
watch Fox, or MSNBC, or CNN, or the BBC...there isn't one network that
someone else can't say something about regarding an agenda...or provide a
link for someone else to read the spin.

It will be interesting to see who gets the axe or if anyone does at
all...all I really know is that while we all sit in our not-so-comfortable
chairs until the wee hours of the morning (at least I do)...people are
suffering because someone else didn't do enough to help, and it's now our
turn to make a difference and that's exactly what I'm trying to do, and
anyone else is welcome to join me.
