Looks like there are a few things missing form that timeline. Standard procedure is to ask other states to send National Guard troops to work under States jurisdiction so as to not cede control to the Federal Government. She waited until Wednesday night to ask. Then instead of giving Federal Government control she hired a lawyer. Bush's problem was he didn't enforce the Insurrection Act.
