I noticed those problems too.  The about button is an odd one.  ( It's not 
there in Photoshop, and the odd line is in a different place in IE than in 
Firefox ).  

 The double dark line depends on how much content is in the window and the tile.

 On both of those issues, I made the decision that its good enough for the 
client.  :-)  I think I'm going back to idea number 2, which is to remove the 
swoosh and replace it w/ a column.

 I also think the design is great.  I wish I had the skills to build something 
like this from scratch.
