Our pup was able to hold it over night after the 2nd day, he'd go in around
11:00 and not wake up until around 6:00.

He is now 9 months old and stays out of his almost all the time.

We left him out Sunday while we were gone for nearly 11 hours. He was able
to hold it without any problems.

I will say there are certain foods that work better with keeping them on
schedules. Our vet said Iams was very good at giving them the stuff they
need, and making it easier for them to hold.
