Hehe i remember in elementary school, I wore my tennis shoes long after the
soles have worn out (and removed!). I would also scrunch up my toes when I
outgrew them and wait till next year or sumpin to get bigger ones. Then when
6th grade came I was so embarassed of my ATTACK FORCES from Payless Shoes, i
made my mom buy me 70 dollar reeboks (i wanted Nike but the ones i wanted
were too expensive) ----VS. $12 ATTACK FORCE tennis shoes!

I'm sure as heck that the other kids were as "poor" as me but they all wore
Nikes haha. That was back in 94' yo. Around 2000+ being an "outcast"/
"loser" / "weirdo" was trendy, they even sell them at the mall (Loser
shirts, anyone?)! Dunno what the trend is now these days I'm not into high
school chicks anymore :]

What was the trend back in the 80's? Big hair?
