I'm not sure if I have your context correct, but what about Macromedia
Captivate or RoboScreen***?

Subject: E-Learning for beginners

My Dad is looking into a promotion that would involve developing
e-learning tools. He's adaquate with a computer, but not a programmer
by any means (though he likes to lecture me on the topic). He's coming
from an educator background, but wants to go ahead and start looking
into current technologies.

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for books on E-Learning
aimed at the non-technical crowd. Tech recommendations are also
welcome, but make sure and label them, so I know I have to translate.
:-)

Thanks, guys.
