..... After watching the episode on Tivo, my wife and I wanted to see the beginning again. The "daylight" in the bunker was definitely "artificial", as the dude shut all the power off after the gang blew open the hatch. Something my wife caught: The numbers are on the steriods(?) that the dude injects himself with (go back and look, clear as day on the bottles RX 4-815162342, or whatever they are). So, this leads me to believe the island is some sort of government experiment coded with the numbers (like a project # or something). Perhaps the guy that Hurley was in the nuthouse with was one of the original experimentors and returned the states with a screw loose and just keep repeating the numbers after no one would believe his story. Who knows though. It's interesting for sure, they got me hooked. Can't wait for next week. I just hope the final outcome isn't something lame, like the final Newhart.
