It's been a while since I have posted here... I read when I can, but
don't post much...

I am trying to resurrect my website, as my old hosting provider hadn't
changed my registration email address, I was unable to transfer hosts
(that's been corrected).

However, thinking that I wouldn't be able to get brianmeloche.com up
and running before MAX, I decided to search for brianmeloche.net. It
looks like a company, Domain Doorman, LLC, registered brianmeloche.net
three days ago!!?!?!?!??!?

It appears that they may have seen that I recently searched the WHOIS
to see if brianmeloche.com has changed contact information, and
perhaps registered brianmeloche.net thinking that I would want the
..net. I do... I called them, but it doesn't appear to be a legitimate
business phone number.

I am wondering if anyone else has seen something like this happen to them.
