Matthew, If you don't have the time/patience to play online for hours at a time, why not check out Neverwinter Nights. It is a PC game, install and play. In the D&D genre and pretty cool. The cool part is that there has been 2-3 expansion packs and hundreds of 3rd party (free) adventures people have made. You can play online in small groups also (free). The retail version sells for as little as $20, or 30-50 with the expansion packs (Platinum has them all, gold only the first 1-2). There is a NWN2 being made but I haven't heard when it will be out. I think Bioware made the first one and they have another group doing the 2nd. Oh, and you can make your own adventures with their simple to use tool set.
