I guess that is something I didn't get either. They show the guy in the suit - Frank - at the end, sitting there. I am assuming that he was the guide-person (forgot what they called them in the old lady's book), and now he's out-of-work or something? Subtle point that probably didn't matter, but it stuck with me.
