I'm always surprised too when I mention RIA to another web person and they
don't know what I'm talking about, but it happens quite often. If I mention
"Flash" or "Macromedia", I'm often greeted with derision.

*shrug*

I'm not making a personal value judgement, nor even a prediction of the
viability of the tech. Just passing along my anecdotal "man on the street"
observations.
