I admittedly know little or nothing about orthodox Judaism, but...i was under the impression that most, if not all, major religions hold that life begins at conception??? > As for the creationism vs science debates (I nearly wrote it as debase > pardon the freudian there), it involves the concept of literalism > here. Those who follow creationist thought, if it can be called such, > believe that the bible must be taken literally, grasshoppers and > locusts have 4 legs etc. Anything else whether taught in schools etc > is heretical sin. > Anybody who tries to literally interpret the Bible to bolster their side in a modern day legal debate....is being foolish. Usually, this involves fundamentalists or literalists trying to advance anti-abortion agendas. That is why i found it kind of astonishing that this guy was using the same flawed methodology to try and advance his PRO abortion stance. In both cases, the premise for the argument is flawed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Now thereâs a better way to fax. eFax makes it possible to use your existing email account to send and receive faxes.
