Just a short comment, I don't have time for a full debate, but given
what the places in france looked like, this may be more akin to the
race riots in 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970. To call them modern ghettos -
using the more americanized version of the term, and slums is an
understatement. The places in France where most of the rioting occured
are like the nastiest Chicago projects than decent housing. Given how
much muslim immigrants in France are isolated, unemployed, and
confined to slum housing, no wonder they're more likely to riot.

I am not saying its right, but I'm also saying that I can understand
the circumstances behind the rioting. I think most people living in
those conditions would likely do the same, rather than be an attribute
of their race or religion as was the implication.

As for the Denmark riots. I did a search using news.google.com and
nothing showed up, but there was some announcement over arrests of
some people in Denmark. Simlar results were found with Aarhus, Denmark
and Ã…rhus, Denmark.
