Huh.  Anybody that'd like to get the definitive answer would be a real
hero.  I've always thought that the "Shiraz" grape was an Australian
invention and so only Australian Shiraz was actually Shiraz.

Kind of like Champagne or, more recent, Feta Cheese (only Greek).
