http://www.courierpress.com/ I live only a couple of miles (Boonville, Indiana) from the path of this tornado. They said it could have been an F3. I just so happened to be in So. IL with my wife, for the weekend. Our three kids were at my parent's house this weekend. Last night my oldest daughter drove from Boonville, our home town, to my parent's house near Rockport. That means that she drove across the path of the tornado not long before it came through. (She called us this morning when they heard the news.) Ellis Park (owned by Churchill Downs) was hit to the tune of $5-6 million. Several race horses killed and several more put down because of their injuries. Lastest death toll is 17. 11 of them in Vanderburgh Co centered around a trailer park near the OH river.
