I called no one Nazis. Rather I compared Brown's response to the same response that the people who lived near the camps exhibited. Read Hitler's Willing Executioners for an idea of the indifference these people exhibited.
My father told me that after their combined force took over the Bergen Belsen complex, the British commander marched the local officials, like the local burgomeisters and mayors and their families through the camps so that these people to see what really happened. With most they reacted with more or less indifference - Brown's reactions to the reports was almost the same. At least some reacted differently. The mayor of one of the local towns after going through the satillite camp near his town hanged himself. larry On 11/7/05, Sam <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Six people died, four from natural causes, one overdose and one > suicide.
