Yes what happens though is that the coke binds on the same receptor
sites on the nerve synapses as the serotonin does. This prevents the
serotonin reuptate and has all sorts of other consequences than just
the coke buzz.

The problem is that just because something is produced by your body
doesn't mean that its not harmful under certain conditions. Consider
stomach acid - we need it, but try dipping a finder in it - it will
eat it to the bone.

Too much serotonin has some nasty consequences for the brain.
